Ekidna busca reflexionar sobre la memoria, lo efímero, el desapego, lo invisible y lo visible...

Cuando el hilo vuelve a su carrete, el hilo enrollado es donado a alguno de los espectadores, para que este se lleve la obra en su bolsillo.

¿ Qué es un Ekidna?

El término Ekidna en biología se refiere a los animales que forman parte de la familia de los monotremas, y son seres que comparten características de los mamíferos y los reptiles. Ekidnas son los hornitorricos. El evento Ekidna  generalmente se lleva a cabo in-situ y su materia de creación es un hilo, pegamento solido y el cuerpo del artista en movimiento.

El objetivo de esta obra es que el artista cree un dibujo durante un tiempo determinado y luego lo des-haga.

Una línea continua y sin corte forma el dibujo en la pared o el piso, las dimensiones son variables, el hilo se adhiere a la superficie  y después de vivir su aparición y complejidad,  en un ritual de despedida se des-hace, se desvanece, halando el hilo y enrollándolo de nuevo en su carrete. En el espacio donde habito el dibujo queda una sutil huella casi invisible.

The Ekidna are animals that are part of the family of the monotremes, and they are beings that share characteristics of mammals and reptiles, they are unique beings.

The performance is also called EKIDNA. The event takes place anywhere with a thread, one continue line creates the form without cutting it. Its duration is limited.

The Ekidna rite begins with the creation of his being by wire, by drawing on the wall or floor. After living his appearance in a farewell ritual is undone, it vanishes.

Perfil

Magister en Educación Corporal                                                   Maestro en Artes Plásticas

Artista Multidisciplinario, Magister en Educación Corporal, Artista Plástico, actor, animador de objetos, titiritero, bailarín, cuentero y dicharachero. Su obra reflexiona sobre la memoria, lo efímero, el azar, la oscuridad y el cuerpo. Ha participado en diferentes proyectos en los que se hibridan las artes plásticas, el performance, el teatro y la danza.

Magister in Education Body, National University of La Plata. Outstanding thesis: 'Theatre in the dark research on two Argentine experiences, based on theatrical theory of Jorge Dubatti'. Master in Fine Arts, National University of Colombia. Worthy mention of the degree work: Touch/ the shadow of the invisible cloud. Research that exposes the degree work is based mainly in a working stage with blind children. Diploma in puppets and manipulation of objects. Nacional University de San Martín.

Interested in the investigation and communication and hybridization between the Visual Arts, performing arts and dance.
